Hezbollah Claims Rocket Strike on Israeli Air Defense Site Near Haifa
In a statement, the Lebanese group said the strike hit the Mishmar HaCarmel air defense facility shortly after midnight. Hezbollah described the operation as a “legitimate defensive response,” arguing that ongoing Israeli attacks and assassinations justify such retaliation.
The group stated that the strike was carried out in response to the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and called on the responsible parties to halt what it termed US-Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
