Trump Projects Four-Week Timeline for US-Israeli Strikes on Iran
Trump tells the Daily Mail: “It's always been a four-week process. As strong as it is, it's a big country, it'll take four weeks — or less.” He adds that the outcomes so far have not surprised him. “I think it's going as per planned, other than we took out their entire leadership -- far, far more than what we thought,” he says, reiterating that 48 Iranian leaders have been eliminated.
Regarding Saudi Arabia’s role, Trump suggests the Kingdom is already engaged, saying: “They're fighting, they're fighting too,” though no official statements from Riyadh confirm this.
The comments follow a report that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had authorized the Kingdom to retaliate against Iran if necessary.
Trump also expresses optimism about Iran’s future, stating: “A lot of very positive things could happen,” hinting at the potential emergence of a democracy after the strikes conclude.
